Overview
17th Annual HPC-AI Swiss Conference 2026
20–23 April 2026
Palexpo Locarno / FEVI, Via Alla Peschiera 9, 6600 Locarno, Switzerland
About the Conference
The 17th annual Swiss Conference unites the global HPC, AI, and emerging-technology community in Locarno, Switzerland, hosted by the HPC-AI Advisory Council and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS). It is a forum for industry leaders, innovative startups, and research pioneers to explore how next-generation compute and storage technologies are reshaping science, industry, and society.
This year expands the program’s scope with deeper focus on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and digital twins as interconnected pillars driving the future of high-performance innovation. Technical sessions, workshops, and case studies will examine how these technologies converge, from AI-accelerated HPC workflows, to early quantum-hybrid computing models, to the use of large-scale digital twins for designing, validating, and optimizing new scientific and industrial infrastructures.
The conference opens with a dedicated tutorial day, followed by three days of keynotes, invited talks, panels, and interactive activities. Attendees will gain actionable insights across HPC, AI, quantum computing, digital-twin engineering, cloud architectures, containerized workflows, and more—equipping them for the next wave of breakthroughs and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
